Thoughtful material choice, construction strategies and programatic adjacensies resulted in a highly functional working environment.
Existing HVAC equipment restricted the ceiling height to nine feet in key areas of this project. We embraced this condition, limiting all ceilings to this height in order to create a monolithic condition. Additionally, materials selected for the conference level created reflections on multiple surfaces, making the space feel larger than reality allowed. On the practice floor a series of permanent and non-permanent walls enable the firm to modify its density as needed in the future.
My role on the project as job captain was to assist the design director and interior designer on all phases of design. All drawings and renderings shown are my own work.
